About Me

About Me

Liziah Richards, MA, LMHC, RYT

I received a Masters of Arts in Psychology  from the Leadership Institute of Seattle (LIOS) and a Bachelors of Fine Arts from Cornish College of the Arts. I am also a yoga teacher, trained at the 500 hour level through Whole Life Yoga and love teaching yoga to a variety of amazing students, including those with special needs. I was a teacher with the Seattle Public Schools for years and it was while  working children who struggle with emotional behavioral disabilities at the Seattle Children’s Home that I decided to become a mental health therapist. It was then and now I had the vision and commitment to blend yoga with counseling to provide holistic healing and support to those seeking help and life change. This combination of holistic wisdom is what helped and continues to help me as someone in recovery from at times debilitating  anxiety and a tough early life.  I am a writer of plays, poetry, stories and songs and perform from time to time. I am humbled and honored to be on a conscious path of healing and inspired to help individuals and the world get better and live in more love and health.
